Chris Fung

resident associate artist

2026 - 2027

I am overjoyed to be spending a year building a new play with Piers Black and Ali Michael at Ransack Theatre. Piers and Ali are tremendously exciting creatives, full of momentum and moxie. I am so delighted to be playing with and learning from them for this next year. I am grateful to have been selected from what was an extremely competitive field of sparkly eyed playwrights, and I would love to pledge now, that I am going to do my best to both make the most of this opportunity, as well as to find tangible ways to uplift and share THE GOOD STUFF with the wider UK playwriting community.

Alongside director Eilidh Evans, I run Camino Meets, a free dramaturgical development community for low socioeconomic London Playwrights. We meet every month in central London. If you’re interested in saying hello, bringing some work, please pop on by! @caminomeets

It is an honour to be Ransack Theatre Company’s Resident Associate Playwright for 2026 to 2027.
